By Land

Subic Bay is just a two-hour drive from Manila. It is most accesible through land Transportation.

By Private Car

If you are going by car, take the NortH Luzon Expressway (NLEX) to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway(SCTEx), then exit a few kilometers past the Angeles toll booth. Continue driving in the direction of Subic. The SCTex merges with the Tipo expressway and further into the Subic Bay Freeport zone.

By Passenger Bus

Two Bus lines plies the SBMA/Olongapo route: Victory Liner & Saulog tansit. Victory Liner has terminals in Pasay City, Caloocan, Sampaloc and Cubao. Saulog Transit is at Dr. Lopez Jaena Street, Cavite City.Saulog has daily trips form 2 A.M. to 2 P.M., with a one hour interval. Victory Liner starts at 4 A.M. and every hour thereafter. Fare to Olongapo is a little over PhP200.00 for both bus lines.

From the Olongapo City bus terminal, a quick jeepney ride can be used to get to SUbic Bay. The city's jeeps and tricycles here are color-coded,representing specific routes. Yellow jeeps are from Sta. Rita/Pepsi to Main Gate; Red, Gordon Heights to Main Gate; Orange, Public Market to Pag-Asa; Brown, Cabalan to Public Market; Green, Mabayuan to Public Market; and blue, Public Market to Subic Town.

At the Main Gate is a terminal of buses that can take you to various points inside the freeport. Coasters and min-buses are also available at any time to ferry you to your accommodateions. Taxi vans are another option, but they are more expensive than buses or coasters.

By Air

Being a tourist hot spot, foreigners may get to Subic Bay using the country's major international airports.

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport, located in Manila, is the country's primary international airport where majority of the international flights arrive. Transportation is available here to Subic Bay by taxi and and/or car rentals.

The relatively new Diosdado Macapagal International Airport at Clark Freeport Zone may also be utilized. Transportation to SUbic Bay may also be secured thorugh taxi services here.

For chartered flights, you may also use the Subic Bay International Airport (SBIA). Located at the site of the old US Naval Air Station Cubi Point, the airport had been formerly used as the Asian hub of FedEx.

By Sea

Subic is accesible by sea thorugh the Subic Seaport. However, at present, available ferry services only ply the Manila to Bataan route. Travel starts at the CCP Bay Cruise Terminal, with the drop-off point at Orion, Bataan, and vice versa. From Bataan, you may secure Transportation to Subic Bay.
